Garden Soil:
For preparing potting mixture the first and foremost important ingredient is garden soil. You can get it from nursery, if it is red soil then it would be great or else you can dig it from a garden or a field near your home itself.
Coco peat:
Next important key ingredient is coco peat. Coco peat is basically dried and compressed coconut fiber. The main job of coco peat is hold the water in the soil. A brick of coco peat (600 gms) requires 3L of water. Add water to coco peat fiber and after 1 minute coco peat will absorb all the water.
Gravel stones:
Perlite soil is also important ingredient which is gravel stones. Since the pots are with more drainage holes, the soil should may come out of drainage holes. In order to prevent this gravel stones can be used.
Manure:

Preparation:
Add garden soil, coco peat and manure in the ratio of 1 part: 1 part: 1/8 part and mix well.
First add gravel stone as the base layer to allow water to drain but not the soil to let out. Then add the potting mixture prepared.
